Curious is an adaptable light module for the home. It was developed starting from a technology found in computer screens; a side-lit plexiglass panel creates direct light while maintaining a thin profile. The module slides on to a steel tube and is held in place by magnets. The prototype was developed with a 3D printer as well as a laser cutter machine used to cut the lenses and plexiglass and engrave a pattern onto the plexiglass to project light outwards.
